Have you ever wondered which place has the best printing for your valued professional photos?
Professional Photo Printing … yeah, it’s a thing & quite honestly, it’s an important thing! You let the professionals create beautiful photos for you, letting the same professional handle your photo printing will ensure that your photos look as good as they should in your home.Perhaps you’ve taken your photos to Target to be printed and they came out all blotchy and the color just wasn’t right. Maybe Wal-mart or even Kinkos would be better? Unfortunately, the answer is that none of them are worth the commute let alone the money.
The problem is that none of your local printing stations have the ability to print to the same standard as a professional quality lab. High end professional cameras these days put out an average of 24 mega pixels and shoot at around 300dpi resolution on an image that is scaleable to 20 feet tall! Compare that with your top of the line iphone or digital pocket camera which is 8 mega pixels at 72dpi resolution (that’s 4 times the difference). If all that technical talk is over your head that’s ok, just know this, it’s very high resolution and deserves to be printed in all of it’s glory!
In addition to the resolution loss when having your professional photos printed at your local Kinko’s, you also have color correction concerns. Your average printing station around town will be printing in what is called CMYK color format which is all fine and good if you are printing a banner or your favorite nephews crayon drawing. Photos, especially professional photos, need to be printed in an RGB format. RGB allows for over 16.5 million colors whereas CMYK only allows for 1 million. That’s a big difference! While standard local printers print in CMYK, your digital photos are produced on an computer screen (we use Retina and 4k).
What is going to happen to your beautifully vibrant and carefully hand developed photo when it’s printed? Imagine going to the store to buy your favorite shade of lipstick and finding out that all the local stores now only sell red; no not bright red, dark red, magenta, hues of pink, or any other red…just red. Fellas, imagine your television only getting one football game a season. What are you going to do?! Well the answer is simple; order your lipstick online from a professional makeup line like MAC and chose the perfect color for your style. Gentlemen, I know you’re heading straight to the nearest bar where all 15 games are playing! Don’t sell yourself short! … In short, your stunning photos are not going to have nearly that same look that you love.

Our Luxury Products
In the end we pay an annual premium to a professional print lab that requires the member to be a professional photographer (it’s a whole application process and waiting period). Unlike other local photographers we DO NOT uncharge on our printing options! There is no other photographer that I know of that offers this. Many charge 5-9 times the cost they pay from the lab. Yes, you heard that correct. Albums are priced between $500-$2,000 (ours start at around $100). We’re not your sales people, we’re not printing professional, although we know a lot about it, we’re your PHOTOGRAPHER. We just want to make sure that you are loving and living with your professional photos for a long, long time to come!
You don’t have to believe me, you can see for yourself…but hopefully you won’t have to because that’s just money down the drain!
