They met in college. In the days of newfound freedom and big dreams, in the days of late nights and early mornings. They were just friends.

Brianna was a nursing student and obsessed with all things Disney. Justin was a business student and maybe talked a little too much or was it that he knew way too many movie lines. Whatever it was, they fell hard for each other. They became best of friends. Their friendship grew into a relationship. Their love was magnetic. They fell hard and fast for each other.

In the heart of spring, on cute little Dolly the Steamboat, with his parents by his side, Justin presented Brianna with a beautiful custom poem book. Upon opening the book, Brianna found a ring, with tears in her eyes, she looked up and there he was, on one knee, “Will you marry me?”

Almost 18 months later there she was, a beautiful, joyful bride marrying her sweet, kind-hearted groom at the beautiful Elegant Barn having the wedding of her dreams— and what a true honor and pleasure it was to be the ones to capture it, including those moments of happy tears.

Brianna and Justin, even though we’ve only seen each other a few times, we feel so close to you. To your story. Two hard-working people who’ve faced and fought adversity in pursuit of big, scary dreams and come out the other side. Together and stronger than ever. Your love is the inspiring kind, the look-up-to kind, a true testament to what happens when two people become something that easily shines but isn’t easily broken: a three strand cord.
