We come prepared with soothing sounds, quality lighting and equipment, and a gentle touch. While we used to offer some props when our studio was open, we no longer stock props; however, they are very affordable on many websites and we are happy to help you find the best and most affordable baskets, dressings, ribbons, and bows…and there is always plenty we can do without props.

Booking around the due date allows for flexibility in scheduling the session soon after the baby is born. You want to trust a photographer who is experienced in posing your precious baby. We recommend that you bring the newborn just after feeding if at all possible; they will be sleepy and happy! In the development process, we spend additional time on the enhancement of your newborn portraits, brushing away red spots, correcting skin color, and healing blemishes. We treat your images as delicately as we treat your newborn! For our newborn sessions, we travel to you! Keeping the infant in the comfort of their own home is the best way to shoot newborn sessions.
