Andrea & George Arizona Wedding Photography Session
The Orthodox Church describes marriage as a ‘Mystery’. It is a sacrament, the holiest of unions. Of course, you don’t need to get hitched to experience this mystery; just attend an Orthodox wedding!
And that’s exactly what we did this May at the St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church in Phoenix, Arizona. We were invited to capture the matrimonial of Andrea and George in one of the most beautiful churches in the state.
Of course, we didn’t just click pictures inside the church. The day began at the hotel, where the beautiful bride and dashing groom got ready for their big day. Then we headed toward the church for the sanctimonious ceremony.
During these few hours, Andrea & George, reenacted all the stages of their relationship, as a bride and groom divinely chosen to live together forever, but first, they have to arrive at the altar in their separate ways.
Inside the church, we relished beautiful art and architecture, but you won’t find them on the album. Our focus was on the couple, of course, but do check out pictures of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church.
They also have a Church hall next to the main building for parties, and this is where they hosted the reception.
Once united by their vows, they had their first kiss and dance at the reception venue and there were fireworks. Not literal of course, but we could feel the sparks emanating from the bond between these two lovely souls, especially Andrea, who adorned a diva outfit for her special day.
Overall, everything was fantastic from start to finish, and we couldn’t ask for anything more. It is moments like these that remind us why we became photographers in the first place. Check out these photos and others in our gallery. And contact us today to learn more about our services.
