Cabins on Strawberry Hill – Scottsdale Arizona

One of our favorite things as wedding photographers is to see the look in a groom’s eye as his beautiful bride takes those first steps down the aisle to “I do”. It is difficult to find such a powerful and silent way of saying, “I love you”, like that does. It is our job as photographers in Arizona to capture that precise moment, so that nothing is left to the imagination and memories are made for a lifetime!

The first time I met Kylie and Justin was for their engagement session up north in Prescott, they are a couple big into the outdoors. It was clear at the very moment that camping, off-roading, and shooting was a big part of their relationship! They have a shared love for it and they even incorporated it into their wedding in a few ways. After talking with them the first time, I left their consultation with my fingers crossed we would get to work together on their wedding day. I felt like I had known these two for years and we were long time friends! Well, I was right. These two quickly became like friends to me! They are so natural in front of the camera, so in love with each other and so much fun to be around. Their wedding at The Cabins on Strawberry Hill in the northern forests of Arizona was fairytale come true!

When their wedding day came around, it had felt like a long time coming! Months of planning, emails and preparation were finally about to pay off. And, oh my goodness, did they ever! The day was absolutely perfect.

Justin provided a very special gift to Kylies daughter during the ceremony and there wasn’t a dry eye in the place. Myself and the Lovelee team had tears of joy and laughter and emotion during their ceremony. Hugs, laughs and kisses galore throughout the entire day! Plus, just the right amount of outdoor touches. These portraits are some of my favorites because every moment of their day was a part of their story. From the getting ready moments with her maid of honor zipping her dress and her mom working tirelessly around every corner for the wedding day in Strawberry Arizona to go off without a hitch, and alas, Kylie was a stunning bride. From the family photos to the dance floor, she and Justin were beginning their next chapter.

After learning the story of these two and how they came together to create such a beautiful family, I cannot wait to see this next chapter in their life. I have no doubt that their new journey as Husband and Wife is going to be their best journey yet. I feel so honored to have documented this day and to have gained such lovely friends through the process.
